Planning a Mission Trip to Beth-El

Thank you for your interest in coming to help us with the many needs on our main campus and in the community we serve!

Mission TripsFirst off, we have no cabins or dorms. So, it would be “camping” in our sanctuary. You would need to bring air mattresses or cots if you like, along with your sleeping bags. The good news is that we are fully air-conditioned! We suggest a donation of $20 per person per day for food and lodging. Your group might want to consider a love offering to assist us help the Hispanic farm worker communities where we serve.

Our new shower facility is located directly outside the sanctuary with four stalls.  There is a women’s side and a men’s side and they each have their own entry door. Hot water included!

Meals can be provided. We would provide the breakfast foods, your group would prepare the meal in our kitchen. Lunch and dinner can also be provided. There would be some help needed by your group to do final prep for dinner, depending on the time you choose to eat. Costs depend on the number of meals your group chooses Beth-El to provide. You can also provide your own meals. Regardless, if you wish to plan for Beth-El to provide three meals a day, the additional cost per person is $15 per day.

Now, what would your group be doing? We have many options and the exact tasks would be selected after we determine the size of your group, your schedule, and what is needed on campus and/or the local community. Some of the tasks may be helping pack food bags for our weekly “food pantry,” painting, yard maintenance around our 17 developed acres, minor maintenance and repairs on campus and local homes. There is plenty to do for a variety of teams and expertise!

If you want to tackle some phase of a construction project in our community your group would be asked to participate with up to 50% of the costs of the project.  A love offering to assist us further in supporting the Hispanic farm worker communities around the area we serve, is gratefully appreciated as well.
